How To Use Words for Letters and Spelling Words over the Phone

Have you ever had to spell an email address or password over the phone and end up stumbling for the best word to represent a letter?

Its a common issue that goes back over 100 years and has a solution.   Most commonly recognized as the NATO alphabet, for its inclusion in NATO manuals, it predates NATO.

Most military service people are very familiar with it, unfortunately, most Canadian, know nothing of the military.

The next time you need to spell out an email address or password over the phone, here is a good, time-proven system to do it with.

Enjoy.
